I'm from Minnesota.  If you don't like Minnesota, we'll kick your ass, AAAY.

Perception is reality for most people. This gives way too much influence to politicians, media and teachers of our children.  Often, people in these positions have an agenda.  They work towards their goals by stating their perceptions as facts.  I can only assume that furthering their goals is an acceptable reason to ignore truth.  Take a moment and think how our world would be different if there was a reliable lie detection system.  I believe it would detect as much as 30 percent of statements as false.

You can pick your nose, ass and friends.  Please delineate between them.

When did CNN lose its objectivity? Today I listened to a CNN announcer stating that President Bush was preparing talk privately to French President Jacques Chirac and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder.  He then said we should recall that both were heavily opposed to the war.  He neglected to mention that both Germany and France both had significant financial dealings with Iraq and stood to lose millions perhaps billions of dollars if Saddam's regime were toppled.  Not to mention Russia, which had just signed a 5 year oil deal with Saddam.

The question is not whether God would support a pre-emptive strike, the question is whether or not there is a God.

Quote from my old friend Diane (Have you seen these women?). "You know,... some people live entirely too long."

With CCTV technology so cheap, why aren't all police and other officials outfitted with a camera at all on duty times?

If political memory were gasoline, it wouldn't power a piss ant's motorcycle around a pea.

Quote from my favorite T-shirt. "I may not go down in history, but I will go down on your little sister."
